SEE WHAT YOUR MACHINE IS DOING Plug an inexpensive Bluetooth adapter into your machine's diagnostic connector and your speed, RPM, and engine vitals show up right on the timing screen. Most side-by-sides don't have the 16-pin car-style OBD port, and they don't need one: TrailTimer reads Polaris, Honda, Can-Am, Yamaha, John Deere, Kawasaki and other powersports machines off the connector they do have. Some machines need a pigtail cable to reach it, and some can't be read at all. We publish an honest per-machine list on our site, including the machines that don't work yet and the ones that never will.
