Chord Transcriber is a chord recognition and practice app for guitar players, music learners, and songwriters. Hear a song you like and want to know which chords it uses, what key it is in, or how fast it is? Import an audio file or choose a video from Photos, then analyze the song on your device to get a chord timeline, key, tempo, meter, and helpful diagnostics.

Review each chord segment with its time position, play the original audio or video, and adjust pitch, speed, AB loop, repeat, and volume while you learn the song. The built-in guitar chord library lets you search common chord shapes and play them as block chords or arpeggios, making the app useful for transcription, practice, accompaniment prep, and lesson reference.

Chord Transcriber also includes ear training. Start with basic major and minor triads, then move into seventh chords, suspended chords, add chords, and extended harmony. Key training helps you react faster to tonal centers, chord colors, and common progressions.

Chord Transcriber offers a free experience and optional Pro features. Subscribing or purchasing can unlock advanced chord recognition, complete chord timelines, fingering display, export and sharing, and future advanced tools. The app currently offers monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and lifetime purchase options. Actual prices, trials, promotions, and availability are shown in the App Store.

Auto-renewable subscriptions are charged through your Apple App Store account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, the subscription renews automatically. After purchase, you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Privacy and data information:

Your audio, videos, and analysis results stay on your device by default. The app does not require an account and does not upload your media to a server operated by us. Recognition accuracy can vary with recording quality, mix density, vocals, noise, and model limits, so results are best used as a practical reference for learning, practice, songwriting, and transcription.
