The Ripeness Wheel maps peak months for each bundled variety and pairs with your Patch Journal so you can see what should be ripening in the patches you log this month. Vista Berry is a focused reference for home gardeners and foragers—not a broad plant-ID wrapper.

• Browse the Variety Atlas: search and filter 45 seeded cultivars with origin, flavor profile, USDA hardiness zone, and peak ripeness months. • Save favorites: star varieties for quick access from Atlas and Settings. • Log Patch Journal entries: name each bed, assign planted varieties, attach photos, and record harvest dates with yield notes. • Spin the Ripeness Calendar: filter by month to see which varieties typically ripen, then jump to full atlas detail. • Export journal summaries: share a text snapshot of your patches and recent harvests from Settings.

Everything runs on device. Variety records and the ripeness month map ship in the app bundle. Favorites, journal entries, and feedback stay in local storage—no account, no cloud sync in v1. Optional photo library access is only for patch images you choose to attach.
