MayBudget helps you track payday budgets and expenses by the 15th and 30th, with reminders, backups, and offline local storage.

MayBudget is a friendly payday budget tracker designed for people who plan around the 15th and 30th of the month.

Instead of showing one crowded monthly view, MayBudget automatically displays the budget cycle that matters right now. From the 1st to the 14th, it shows your current month’s 30th-cycle items. From the 15th to the end of the month, it shows your current month’s 15th-cycle items.

Track expected budgets, expenses, and remaining balance in Philippine Peso. Add items like income, bills, food, transport, savings, rent, subscriptions, debt, utilities, and one-time expenses. You can also create custom categories with icons and colors so your records are easy to organize and review.

The Home screen gives you quick summary cards for Total Budget, Total Expenses, Remaining Balance, and Percentage Used. Your budget and expense items are shown together in one clean list, with live search, sorting, category labels, and duplicate actions for faster entry.

MayBudget is built to be offline-first. Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite, so the app stays fast and usable even without an internet connection. For extra peace of mind, you can create compressed ZIP backups, restore your database, or choose monthly backup reminders or monthly auto-backup.

You can also import and export your data using CSV or Excel XLSX files. Import validation helps prevent mistakes by showing invalid row numbers and error details before anything is saved.

MayBudget also supports light, dark, and system theme modes, optional biometric lock, and local notifications for your 15th and 30th budget cycles. Notifications can show your expected totals and a short preview of the items for that cycle.
