See Your Money Clearly — On a Calendar

Most budgeting apps only show what already happened. CalendarBudget shows you what’s coming next, so you can stop guessing, avoid surprises, and feel more in control of your money.

CalendarBudget puts your paycheques, bills, spending, and balances on a simple calendar so you can see your real financial picture today, tomorrow, and weeks ahead.

Instead of wondering whether you can afford something, you can see the answer before you spend.

How CalendarBudget Helps With CalendarBudget, every paycheque, bill, and purchase appears on the day it actually happens. That gives you a clear view of: • what money is coming in • what bills and expenses are coming up • what your balance will be over time

This helps you plan ahead, reduce stress, and make better financial decisions with confidence.

What You Can Do • See your future balance before you spend • Plan upcoming bills and expenses with confidence • Avoid overdrafts and late-payment surprises • Track spending and compare it to your plan • Organize spending with categories and envelopes • Attach receipts and notes to transactions • Sync across mobile and web • Use visual reports to understand your money habits • Forecast your finances days, months, or even years ahead

Why It’s Different Most money apps focus on reports and past transactions. CalendarBudget is built around real life.

Life happens on a schedule: • paycheques arrive on payday • bills are due on certain dates • purchases happen on real days • balances change over time

CalendarBudget makes budgeting feel natural by showing your money the same way you already think about your life: on a calendar.

You do not need to be a budgeting expert. If you can use a calendar, you can use CalendarBudget.

Built for Everyday Life CalendarBudget is ideal if you want to: • stop living paycheque to paycheque • stay ahead of bills • plan larger purchases • build savings with less stress • feel more organized and in control • understand your true cash flow clearly

Whether you are trying to reduce money stress, stay on top of bills, or simply make smarter day-to-day decisions, CalendarBudget helps you see what’s ahead.

User Reviews

Users praise CalendarBudget for its calendar-centric view and strong forecasting (up to 10 years) that aids planning, plus easy input of recurring bills and reminders. However, many reviews report recurring instability—crashes, freezes, and loading hangs—along with data loss and bank-sync issues. Sign-in and account-creation problems compound frustration, while some bugs affect receipts and editing. Overall, it’s powerful and trusted by long-time users, but stability and onboarding challenges are its most mentioned drawbacks.
Pros
  • Calendar-first view provides a clear monthly/daily snapshot of finances.
  • Strong forecasting, including long-range projections (up to 10 years) to model future balances and debt.
  • Easy to use with the ability to pre-fill recurring bills and see incomes/expenses in one place.
  • Bank feed integration and payment reminders help you stay on top of finances.
  • Loyal user base and reputation as a long-standing, highly valued budgeting tool.
Cons
  • Frequent instability: crashes, hangs, and freezes after updates or during entry.
  • Data loss and syncing issues: data reversion, missing transactions, and bank sync problems.
  • Sign-in and account creation problems: login blocks, can't create account, or Apple/Facebook ID issues.
  • Receipt viewing bug and other transaction editing glitches: scanned receipts sometimes cannot be opened and UI changes hinder editing.

This app helps me see my rolling budget exactly in the way I need to! I’ve never overdrafted my bank account since using this app. However, I do wish there was a way to specifically see which planned expenses are never actually attached to a posted charge. ALSO this app has become very buggy lately and is no longer pulling charges from my connected account 95% of the time, even when I manually refresh for reconciliation. I’ve updated the app and still doesn’t resolve. I’ve even disconnected and reconnected my bank account, with no resolve. I hate paying for a feature that rarely works….

This will be the perfect app for what I need budget-wise, but it is super laggy and I have had to shut it down several times because it got stuck loading. Hoping this is just because I am setting things up and that takes longer for the system to process?

Been using CalendarBudget for close to 10 years since before they launched their app. To date it’s still the best tool I have available. But God, it seems like every time they update it it solves one problem and creates two new ones.
