MathFox introduces preschoolers to math the playful, pedagogical way – not through rote memorization, but by truly understanding quantities. Finn the fox guides your child with little stories and reads every problem out loud – perfect for children who can't read yet. Fully available in English and German.

FOUR LEARNING PHASES — THE WAY MATH EDUCATION WORKS The learning path follows how early math skills actually develop: Understanding amounts → Splitting numbers → Learning to calculate → Math in everyday life. Every station sits exactly where it belongs.

FROM QUANTITIES TO CALCULATION • Recognize, match and compare amounts • Continue the pattern: from color patterns to number sequences — a first step toward algebra • Find shapes: spot circles, triangles, squares and rectangles in Finn's pictures • The number range grows with your child: 1–5 → 1–10 → 1–20 → 1–100 • Splitting numbers and number houses: every way to split a number, step by step – the foundation of arithmetic • Plus and minus on the ten frame with blue and red dots • Number friends (pairs that make 10) and crossing ten across two ten frames – smart calculating made visible • Doubling and halving

MATH IN EVERYDAY LIFE • Math stories: Finn tells little stories – your child listens and solves them with pictures (the path to word problems in school) • The clock: reading the time – full hours first, then half and quarter hours, finally even 12/24 ("the clock shows 3 – in the afternoon that's 15:00") • Finn's market stall: paying exact amounts – with coins from 5 cents to 2 euros and bills • Supermarket: shopping, paying with a bill and giving back the right change • Finn's scale: put the same amount on both sides and weigh • Writing numbers: trace the digits 0–9 with your finger

STICKER ALBUMS — COLLECTING IS LEARNING PROGRESS Every number range has its own sticker album: Forest (1–5), Farm (1–10), Sea (1–20) and Space (1–100). Stickers are earned only by newly mastered tasks — a full album means the number range is done! The album clearly shows which learning areas are mastered and where practice is still needed.

FINN'S HOME With collected stars your child decorates Finn's home: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and several gardens. Place, move and color furniture, plants, animals and your own stickers – and get the stars back when you put things away. Perfect rounds and bonus games gradually unlock new furnishings — from a fireplace to a birdhouse.

ADAPTS TO YOUR CHILD An adaptive engine picks the right problems: whatever isn't solid yet comes up more often, mastered content rotates its representation. The next number range only opens once the sticker album is full – meaning every learning game in that range is solid. Nobody advances by luck.

REWARDS INSTEAD OF PUNISHMENT Correct answers earn stars; newly mastered topics earn stickers for the album. Wrong answers are never a problem – Finn patiently shows how it works. No hearts, no losing moments, no time pressure.

GAMES FOR YOUR STARS Spend collected stars on cheerful bonus games: number bubbles, apple catch and rocket launch.

MADE FOR PARENTS • Multiple children – picture-based selection, no names or keyboard needed • Daily play time per child with a real child lock: when time is up, Finn says goodbye and sleeps until tomorrow – parents can adjust the limit anytime and grant bonus time when needed • Parents' area protected by a math gate (multiplication – uncrackable for little foxes) • Easy on the eyes: gentle transitions, no flashing or strobe effects • Ad-free, no tracking, no account – everything stays on the device
