Mapio opens georeferenced PDF maps (GeoPDF and Geospatial PDF) and shows your live GPS position on top of them. The map lives on your phone: it works with no signal and no data.

WHAT YOU CAN DO • Import any georeferenced PDF and see it with your live location. • Measure distances, areas and perimeters in hectares, metres, acres or feet. • Draw polygons and pivots: full circles or slices, from 1% up. • Save your shapes. They stay on the map and you can edit them point by point, duplicate them and delete them. • Tap a shape in the list and the map flies to it. • Drop waypoints and use the compass. • Online satellite map when you have signal, with the same tools. • Everything keeps working offline once the PDF is imported.

You choose which. • Import polygons from KML, KMZ, SHP and ZIP. • Productivity management zones: Mapio analyses up to 5 years of Sentinel-2 imagery on your own phone and splits the field into zones. • The number of zones is decided by the algorithm using the FPI and NCE indices. If the field is uniform it tells you, instead of splitting it for no reason. • Dates without a crop, clouds and images showing temporary management patterns are discarded: grazed strips, half the field sown on another date, different fertiliser rates. • The headland is kept as a separate class, so machinery traffic is not mistaken for poor soil. • You choose how much the boundaries between zones are smoothed, and the app shows what it costs the map's quality on your own field. • Export the zones to KML or Shapefile, one row per zone with its area, its share of the field and its relative productivity. • An "i" button explains the full method, the sources and the limitations.

Management zones use public Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery (ESA). Contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data.

Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
