Uply: Wash to Wake Alarm

Uply is an alarm app that keeps ringing until you physically wash your face or do pushups — verified by your phone's camera and motion sensor. It also stops you from force-closing or deleting the app mid-alarm using Apple's Screen Time.

HOW IT WORKS

Wash to Wake (Wet-Face Scan) Splash cold water on your face, hold it up to the camera, and complete a short on-device scan. The alarm won't stop until it's verified. Your face is never recorded, uploaded, or stored — the scan happens entirely on your device.

Pushup Challenge Do standard or knee pushups, tracked in real time using your phone's motion sensors. Complete the set to dismiss the alarm.

Anti-Snooze & Anti-Deletion Uply uses Apple's Screen Time framework to block you from force-quitting or deleting the app while an alarm is active — so there's no shortcut back to sleep.

WHY IT WORKS

Cold water on the face triggers the mammalian dive reflex — it lowers your heart rate and increases blood flow to the brain, cutting through sleep inertia faster than hitting snooze ever could. Pushups do the same through movement and elevated heart rate.

Your face scans and pushup videos are processed 100% on-device using Apple's Vision framework nothing is ever uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone, including us.
