A SESSION EVERY DAY

Daily Session: a guided 5-minute review (spaced repetition), with reminders and a streak to keep — the best way to lock in what you learn, day after day.

Interactive lessons, essential vocabulary, guided exercises, pronunciation carried by referent speakers' voices. Available today: Fon and Mina (Ewe, Adja-gbe and Wolof are on the way).

LEND YOUR VOICE — AND GET REWARDED

Are you a native speaker? Your voice can save a language. Record words, proverbs, life stories: each clip enriches an open linguistic corpus, and you are paid for your contribution (up to 3,000 FCFA/hr). Track your earnings and payments in the app.

WHY SÈGBÉ

Today, neither Siri, Alexa nor Google Assistant understand Fon, Mina or the other languages of the gbe continuum. AI models are trained mostly on English, French, Mandarin. Sègbé flips this equation by building, from its users' voices, the corpora that will tomorrow let these languages exist in the digital world.

WHO IT IS FOR

  • Diaspora wanting to reconnect with the original language
  • Younger generations who want to pass it on to their children
  • Native speakers who want to contribute to collective memory
  • Teachers, researchers, linguists
  • Curious learners

The interface is designed for elders as much as for young people: large buttons, clear text, step-by-step guidance.

————

PRIVACY AND RESPECT

  • You choose, scope by scope, what you allow (internal corpus, research, open data, learner mode, AI training — 5 distinct and modifiable decisions).
  • No ads, no trackers, no intrusive analytics.
  • Your recordings are stored in Europe (Paris servers), encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • No speaker recognition, ever.
  • Account deletion is effective within 24 hours, in one tap.

ROADMAP
