5-STATE DETECTION ENGINE Developed from motion-science research, the FSM moves through Idle → Paddling → Takeoff → Foiling → Pumping and back. FFT-based pump detection locks onto your personal pump frequency. Variance-collapse flight detection catches the clearest positive foil signal. Two-stage tripod takeoff detection eliminates false positives from surf pop-ups.

OFFLINE CALIBRATION Select short, medium, or long wave period before the session. The app calibrates pump-frequency expectations without any internet connection — works in the lineup, not just at the pier.
