BreakFinder - Surf Skate turns your Apple Watch into a surfskate trick counter. It detects — in real time — the six moves every surfskater cares about: pump, carve, drop-in, kickturn, slide and stall. No phone needed on the board.

WHAT IT DOES

• Real-time trick detection using accelerometer + GPS fusion. The same FSM-based algorithm used in the BreakFinder Garmin app, ported natively to Swift and tuned for watchOS 11.

• Three modes. Flatground (pumps, carves, slides), Transition (drop-ins, kickturns, stalls), or Mixed.

• Stance-aware. Regular or Goofy, or let the app auto-detect from your first carves.

• Haptic confirmation. A tap and a visual flash on every validated trick so you know it was counted without looking at your wrist.

• Live metrics. Heart rate, calories, elapsed time, current speed, distance — all while tracking.

• Session history. Every session saved locally with per-trick breakdown, GPS track, and HR/calorie stats.

• Water-locked by default. Turn the Digital Crown to stop the session — no accidental taps from dirty hands.

• Full HealthKit integration. Sessions show up in the Fitness app with distance, heart rate, and calories burned.

CLOUD SYNC

Pair your watch with a free BreakFinder account to sync sessions to breakfinder.surf for GPS replay, longer-term analytics, and cross-device session history. Pairing is one-time per watch via a 6-digit code.

PRIVACY

Tracking data is yours. No ads, no third-party trackers, no data sold. Location, health, and fitness data are collected only to power the app and (optionally) sync to your BreakFinder account.
