Tap Record in your Nook, speak, and stop. Your recording is saved on your iPhone first. Keep it as audio, or sign in and choose Generate transcript for a saved entry when you want searchable text.

PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN

• Recordings are saved on your iPhone before any optional processing
• Transcription runs only for the recording you select
• AI review is off by default
• Lock the journal with Face ID, Touch ID, or your iPhone passcode
• Export journal text as JSON or Markdown, or create an archive with recordings and images
• Delete individual entries, all local data, or your signed-in account

Cloud transcription and AI review require sign-in and your permission. Selected audio or entry text is processed online only when you request those features. Koala Journal has no social feed, public profile, messaging, or sharing features.
