Road cycling: draft & race
Hold the wheel. Win the sprint. Draft, fight for position, and time your kick — a cycling career from Continental to the World Tour.
Sprinttrain is a tactical top-down road-cycling sprint game. You ride in the peloton, manage your energy, use the slipstream, and pick the right moment to launch your sprint for the stage win.
The Race
Racing is all about the wind. Out in front you burn through your energy fast, but tucked into another rider's slipstream you save it and even recover. Your power is measured in "matches" — every time you sprint above your threshold, you spend one, and if you burn too many you get blown and your speed collapses. The art is in the timing: read the finale, hold the wheel, and go at exactly the right moment. Moving up through the bunch and forcing your way through gaps costs energy too, so every position you fight for has a price. To set yourself up, you build your own lead-out train — recruit and upgrade riders who pull you into position and peel off in the finale. Everything runs on one-finger touch control or the keyboard.
Course & Stages
No two finishes feel the same. You contest flat bunch sprints, chase points at intermediate sprints on the road, and grind over hill climbs that genuinely bite — uphill you slow markedly and the draft barely helps, while downhill you roll faster. The run-ins throw roundabouts, traffic islands, narrowing roads and road blockades at you, all the way down to the flamme rouge and the finish line.
Career
Pick from three rider archetypes, each with its own strengths, and work your way up through a league system with promotion and relegation: Continental Tour, Pro Continental Tour, and World Tour. Each season is made up of multi-stage tours where you earn World Tour Points to survive and climb. Between races you train your rider's attributes and build and upgrade your team. A points classification and Green Jersey reward consistent placings and intermediate sprints, and every stage gives you results with time gaps, tour and season overviews, full career stats (Palmarès) and a podium ceremony. Three difficulty levels let you set the challenge.
Multiplayer (Beta)
You can also take the same drafting and sprint tactics online against other riders in real time. Sit in the bunch, share the work in the slipstream, and try to outsmart human opponents in the finale instead of the AI. Multiplayer is currently in beta — the core racing works, and it keeps getting refined as the netcode matures.
