Autism Agent is a calm, distraction-free AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) app that helps non-verbal users communicate with picture cards and spoken words. Core features are free — no account required.

BECOME AN AGENT • Quick first setup: pick a friendly agent name and avatar • Starter picture cards load automatically — ready to speak on first launch • Join a family board anytime by opening a caregiver’s share invite link

TAP TO SPEAK • Large, easy-to-tap picture cards with instant text-to-speech • 128 starter pictograms — Yes, No, More, Help, and more • Quick Words row — pin favorites for one-tap access anytime • Long-press any card to edit it, create a new card, or add or remove Quick Words

YOUR PHOTOS, YOUR CARDS • Tap the camera on Speak to add a card — camera opens first, with recent library photos below • Or pick from your full photo library — faces, foods, places, and routines • Replace starter pictograms with real photos as your child grows

BUILD SENTENCES • Combine picture cards into a sentence bar on one screen • Tap the keyboard icon to swap the grid for inline spelling with word prediction • Edit or remove individual word chips; tap Speak when the message is ready • “Agent said” keeps your last spoken word or sentence — tap it to hear again or edit

FOR CAREGIVERS • Tap the gear on Speak to open Admin — protected behind Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode • Optional: Control Panel → Speak Screen → Require hold for Admin or Add Card on shared devices • Share and Add Card are separate toolbar buttons — manage or stop family sharing anytime • Organize cards into categories: People, Places, Food, Feelings, and more • Control Panel: voice, speech rate, pitch, grid size, and student-safe mode

FAMILY SHARING (Plus) • Share your card library read-only with a family member on their own Apple ID • New cards you add appear on the viewer device automatically • If sharing ends, the viewer sees a banner with “Use my own board” to restore starter cards and Admin

AUTISM AGENT PLUS ($4.99/month) • Back up every custom card and photo to your private iCloud • Sync your board across iPhone and iPad • Family sharing — read-only board on a second Apple ID via invite link

ACCESSIBILITY • Calm white interface (optional space theme) • Partner line shows what was last spoken • Student-safe mode for a simpler, focused board on a child’s device
