GadAAC

GadAAC is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app that turns a phone or tablet into a full communication device. It helps children and adults who are non-speaking or have limited speech — people on the autism spectrum, and those with aphasia, mutism, multiple disabilities and other communication difficulties.

The app is free. Building a message is simple: tap pictures (pictograms) and the app assembles them into a sentence and reads it aloud.

WITH AN ACCOUNT Create an account (email) to sync across devices and turn on AI-powered features and day planning: • Sync your settings across devices • Custom tiles made from your own photos • AI mode — suggests the most relevant symbols for the sentence you are building • Photo AAC — take a photo and AI matches tiles to it • Song AAC — paste song lyrics and AI lays them out in symbols • Day Plan & Weekly Template — a visual, tile-based schedule • First / Then — the classic motivating AAC sequence

ACCESSIBILITY GadAAC is built for neurodivergent users: a clear layout, screen-reader labels (VoiceOver / TalkBack), large touch targets, a high-contrast mode and a calm dark mode.
