Neural Initiative is a persistent AI Game Master for fifth-edition and other tabletop RPGs. Start a campaign in minutes and play whenever you want, on your own or with friends. The AI narrates the world, runs the NPCs, calls for real dice, and remembers everything you do, so the story keeps its shape across months. And now it illustrates that story as you play.

DICE THAT ACTUALLY DECIDE Rolls are real and they stick. When the AI calls for a check, the dice are rolled for real and the result drives what happens next. A natural 1 can wreck a plan and a natural 20 can save the day, because the number lands before the story does. The AI does not quietly bend the outcome to a tidier scene. Your luck is your luck.

A STORY THAT COMMITS Neural Initiative plays a campaign with a spine, not a string of disconnected scenes. The world remembers what you did, NPCs hold their grudges and their debts, and the arc you are on keeps moving toward its payoff. Choices have weight because the game carries them forward instead of resetting between sessions.

Every beat can render its own scene in a premium fantasy-rulebook art style, and the backdrop behind the tale is alive: taverns, forests, crypts, the open sea, a burning forge, the feywild, and more, with weather, time of day, and the tension of a fight all reflected on screen.

A PARTY WITH A FACE Every character and key NPC gets a unique AI portrait built from their sheet, so your rogue, your paladin, and the innkeeper who owes them a favor all look like themselves. Portraits carry across your campaigns and double as your avatar.

HOW IT WORKS Neural Initiative is the companion to a hosted service at neuralinitiative.ai. Create an account, start a campaign, and play. The same campaigns are on the web, so you can set things up on a big screen and play on your phone. Sign in with Apple, email, or your other connected accounts. Your data is encrypted in transit and your account is yours to delete at any time.
