HONEST FEEDBACK — LIVE AND AFTER Start with a guided mic check, input meter, room-noise calibration, and latency adjustment. As you play, only confidently heard hits light a positive trail; uncertain or different notes stay neutral; when the signal is unclear, Soloist asks you to try again instead of inventing a wrong note. During grading the target melody stays silent, so the app can never grade its own speaker, and your final score comes from a careful offline read.

FOLLOW MY PLAYING Charts scroll to your actual playing. Soloist listens through the microphone and holds your place as you strum, hands-free, then eases back to a steady beat if it loses you.

TEACH ME MY SONG — ON DEVICE Import a short audio file, play into the microphone, or hum an idea. Soloist turns it into chords and playable guitar tab, then opens the result in the same graded practice stage as a lesson. Captured audio is processed on your device and is never uploaded. The free tier includes three imports each month.

A LIBRARY BUILT TO LAST Explore 259 graded song lessons + 430 play-along charts, including chord-progression packs — 76 of them free. Graded lessons teach a melody note by note; play-along charts are original chord charts without melodies, so you carry the tune.
