oohula is a language coach you practice with by conversing. Instead of fixed lessons, you practice along a plan built around your goal, role-play real conversations, and get your pronunciation checked — at your level, with feedback in the moment.

The whole session can be spoken: the coach reads each reply aloud while it writes, and you answer by holding the talk button — free replies, multiple choice, even fill-in-the-gap. Typing always works too.

It's just you and your coach — no audience, no streaks, no leagues, nothing to keep up. Take as many tries as you need; the coach just keeps helping until it lands.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• CONVERSATION — Role-play real scenes out loud: you speak, the coach speaks back. Talk about your day, your next trip, anything you like, and get spoken and written feedback that fixes each slip on the spot. • NATIVE AUDIO — Curious about a word mid-chat? Tap it to hear a native voice, see how it works, and keep it in your collection, right inside the conversation. • PRONUNCIATION — Say it out loud and oohula hears the exact sound that slipped — a "pero" when you meant "perro" — names it, and drills it with you until it clears. It checks you against the accent you chose — British or American English, Spain or Latin America — and goes beyond single sounds: word stress and the melody of a question count too. It knows which sounds are hard coming from your language, keeps the ones you're working on in your plan, and only flags what it's sure of. • YOUR PLAN — From your very first conversation, oohula maps out a learning plan that fits you: the themes to explore and the ideas to work through, one step at a time. • YOUR WORKSPACE — Concepts, vocabulary with spaced-repetition review, session history, and progress, always free to browse.

ANY LEVEL, IN YOUR LANGUAGE oohula adapts to your level automatically — more support and your own language early on, more nuance and idiom as you progress. You won't be quizzed on a level; you'll just see what you can now do. Beginner (A0) through advanced (C2).

SPEAK MORE THAN ONE At launch: English (US or UK), German, Italian, French, Spanish (Spain or Latin America), and Portuguese (Portugal or Brazil). More languages are on the way. You can learn several at once, each with its own progress.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your pronunciation audio is analyzed, then discarded — only the structured result is sent for coaching, never the recording. Analytics are anonymous, and you can export or delete everything from the app. No account is needed to start.

oohula is free to start. Optional subscriptions include more coaching. Purchases are made and managed through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
