You declare a session before you start: fixed duration, capital at risk, and stop conditions. Once confirmed, those parameters are locked. There is no editing a live session. No renegotiating in the moment. No exceptions.

The countdown runs at the system level. Once a session is active, the timer cannot be dismissed, minimized, or argued away. When the time is up, it is up.

OS-Level Blocking That Holds Guardrail uses Apple's Screen Time framework to block the gambling apps and websites you define as off-limits during a session. The blocking re-arms automatically — even when Guardrail is closed. The structure persists at the OS level until your session ends.

A Dashboard That Tells the Truth Before you start, Guardrail shows you exactly where you stand: session duration, capital limit, stop conditions. The status dashboard exists to give you one clear view of your commitment before you're inside it.

Containment Settings That Hold Arming structure is deliberate. Guardrail's containment settings let you configure system-level blocking and session rules in advance, so when the time comes to lock in, everything is already in place.
