Hot or Cold — Guess by Meaning
One tap to play a friend: share a link or scan a QR code, and you're racing to the hidden word together — or daring them to guess yours.
Guess the secret word by meaning, not spelling. Type any word and Wick tells you how close it is — icy blue when you're cold, warming to red-hot as you close in. One fresh word a day, the same for everyone.
The daily game runs entirely on your iPhone. Most apps that say "AI" ship everything to a server; Wick keeps the daily local. The meaning-based scoring and the AI "Keeper" both run on your device, so it works on a plane, on the subway, anywhere with no signal — and nothing you type into the daily ever leaves your phone. Live duels with friends are the one online part: they're real-time matches, so those need a connection.
Now in five languages — English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Switch anytime in Settings.
HOW IT PLAYS
There's one secret word each day, and it all happens on one screen. Type any word to guess and Wick scores it by meaning, not letters. Cold guesses stay icy blue; you heat toward red as you get closer, and the screen warms along with you. Every guess also tells you whether you got warmer or colder than your best, so you always know when you're onto something.
MEET WICK, THE KEEPER
Stuck? Put Wick to work — the AI guarding the word. In the same box you guess with, just add a question mark to ask him anything: "Is it alive?" or "Bigger than a car?" Tap one of his suggested questions or type your own. He answers honestly, remembers what you've already asked, and has a personality all his own — he'll tease you, cheer you on, and celebrate when you finally land it. He'll never just tell you the word. Best of all, asking Wick is completely free — only hints cost coins.
DUEL YOUR FRIENDS
Challenge anyone, no account needed — live, in real time. In Race mode, Wick picks a secret word and you both race it at once, watching each other heat up, then compare head-to-head. In Dare mode, you pick the word and dare a friend to crack it while you spectate. Share a short code, they join the exact same puzzle, and you settle who's sharper. Duels are online matches, so you'll both need a connection.
DRESS UP WICK
Earned some coins? Spend them in Wick's Wardrobe on hats, glasses, bow ties, googly eyes, a cheeky stuck-out tongue, and more. Mix and match — Wick wears your picks everywhere, even while he's answering your questions. Purely for fun.
LEARN AS YOU PLAY
Turn on Learn mode in Settings and every guess shows its translation — apple → pomme — so you pick up vocabulary while you play. Solve the word and the answer is revealed in both languages. A gentle way to learn French, Italian, German, or Spanish (or English) one word a day.

You can ask Wick your own questions on any iPhone, always free. With Apple Intelligence turned on, he understands free-form questions, remembers your conversation, and replies with personality in his own words. On other iPhones — in any of the five languages — he answers the essentials offline: what kind of thing it is, how big it is, and whether it's alive. Tapping his suggested questions works on every device.
