LectureSync turns a lecture into notes and study cards, on your iPhone or iPad.

RECORD Hit record and just listen. A live level meter shows audio is landing, and a Lock Screen indicator keeps the timer in view while you write by hand. Audio is written to disk as it happens.

TRANSCRIBED ON YOUR DEVICE Your recording is turned into text on your iPhone or iPad. The audio is not uploaded to do it.

NOTES From that transcript LectureSync writes structured notes: an overview, the key concepts, then the details, with math rendered properly. They are built from what was actually said in class.

Writing the notes uses a cloud account you bring yourself, with your own key, and the app asks before it sends anything. You pay that service directly for what you use, so there is no subscription here.

OR LET YOUR MAC DO IT If you also have the Mac app, you can send a recording to it instead and let it handle the transcript and the notes. Tap Send to Mac, and it picks the lecture up through your own iCloud. Either way you end up in the same library.

STUDY Every lecture becomes study cards. Each card shows the line from class it came from, and you can play that exact moment to hear it again. Reviews are spaced out so a card comes back right before you would forget it, and cards from different lectures get mixed together. Reject a card that missed the point and it stays gone.

TRANSCRIPT Every lecture keeps a timestamped transcript. Tap any line to hear that moment.

YOUR LIBRARY Group lectures into courses, and courses into folders. Rename, move, and delete them as your term takes shape.

ALL YOUR DEVICES If you use iCloud, your courses, notes, transcripts, cards, and review history stay in sync across your own devices, including the Mac app, which is included with the same purchase. On Apple Watch, run one quick question at a time. A widget shows what is due.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics. Your content stays on your device and in your own iCloud, which only you can read. The one thing that ever leaves is the transcript text you approve sending to the notes service you picked.

Notes are generated automatically and can make mistakes. Check them against the lecture before you rely on them.
