The name comes from the Greek word κοινωνία — "fellowship," "communion," "community." That is exactly what the app creates for every congregation: a place where people, groups and ministries come together.

Who it's for: Koinonia is built for evangelical churches — for pastors, group leaders and every member of the congregation.

Data & privacy: Koinonia is a closed, organization-controlled tool. Each congregation is the data controller of its own members' data; Koinonia acts solely as a data processor on the congregation's behalf. Communication is limited to members of the same congregation — there is no public user discovery or publicly visible content.
