HOW IT WORKS

Import from Files, iCloud Drive, or wherever your books live. Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, and Wikisource are all free and all work.

Tap a word for an instant English definition, its part of speech, and audio pronunciation. Tap again to save it to your vocabulary list.

Tap a whole sentence for a natural translation plus a word-by-word breakdown, so you can see how the grammar actually fits together.

It all runs on device. No account, no sign-in, and no internet needed once your dictionary has downloaded.

WHICH BOOKS WORK

Any DRM-free EPUB. That covers Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, and anything you bought from a DRM-free seller.

Copy-protected books will not work, in this app or any other. Books bought from Kindle or Apple Books only open inside those apps. Léelo checks before importing and tells you plainly when a file is protected, instead of failing halfway through.

Free forever: 2 books you import yourself, every A1 graded reader, and 5 classics you pick.

Premium: unlimited imports, all 296 graded readers from A1 to C2, and all 66 classics. 30-day free trial, then $5.99/month, or $49.99 once for lifetime access.

If you plan to read a shelf of your own books, you want Premium. The free tier exists so you can read a real book start to finish before you decide.
