Orinn is a calm, private family locator built by a founder who's been in this space since before "family safety apps" became a business model. After watching the category turn into a surveillance funnel — selling kids' real-time location to data brokers, plastering the app with ads, leaking 33 million accounts — we built the version we'd want for our own kids.

WHAT ORINN DOES • Live map. See where everyone in your family is, right now, on one screen. • History. A clean timeline of where your kid was today — trips, stops, school, soccer practice. Useful, not creepy. • Geofences ("Spots"). Get notified when your kid arrives at school, leaves home, or steps outside a custom zone. Set up in 30 seconds. • Watch Live. A short, focused live session with 30-second pin updates — for the school pickup, the late-night drive, the "are they almost home" moments. • Watch Over. Predicts your kid's regular trips and quietly tells you if they're late or off-route. No setup needed. • SOS. One tap from your kid sends their exact location to every parent in the family. With a clear, audible alert. • Battery & device alerts. Know when the kid's phone is about to die, when the app's been deleted, or when location was turned off. • Privacy mode. Kids can pause sharing for short periods — like they would with any human relationship — with a clear timer and an automatic resume. • Speed alerts.
