Family Safety is a location-sharing app for families and other invited circle members. It brings shared location updates, trips, places, and check-ins together in the app.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View location updates shared by circle members on the map • Review trip history and recent routes when available • Add places such as Home or School • Receive arrival and departure notifications for saved places when available • Send a manual check-in • Invite members with a circle code

HOW LOCATION SHARING WORKS

Each member chooses whether to share location and grants the device permissions needed for the features they use. Background updates and place notifications may require background location and notification permissions.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

Location freshness, route availability, and notification timing depend on permissions, device settings, network connectivity, app state, and operating-system behavior. Family Safety is a coordination tool and is not an emergency service.

Use location sharing only with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. Family Safety processes account, device, location, trip, and diagnostic data as described in its Privacy Policy.
