The board isn't a 3x3 grid - it's a 3x3 grid of nine smaller 3x3 grids. Every move you make sends your opponent to a specific small board on the big grid. Win three small boards in a row to win the game.

• MEDIUM: the sweet spot. A tuned search with occasional surprises. Beatable but never careless.

• HARD: a real opponent. Deep alpha-beta search with a positional heuristic. It plans several moves ahead, values small-board control, and punishes loose play. Expect to lose your first few games.

PASS-AND-PLAY - Two players, one device. Take turns on the same iPhone. Great for trains, waiting rooms, and arguing with your roommate.

TUTORIAL - Built-in interactive tutorial that teaches the rules by playing them, not by explaining them. Three short steps, three real moves, and you've got it.
