LoanTrail Auto Loan Tracker helps you understand your car loan payoff over time—principal paid, balance vs. schedule, and how extra payments move your finish line. You enter your own payments (no bank login). Built for fixed-rate monthly auto loans with one note rate at setup. If your P&I changes (variable rate, refinance), log each statement manually—charts stay useful, but rate-schedule tools are not in this release.

TRUST & LIMITATIONS • Estimates only—not from your lender; not credit, refinancing, or tax advice • App lock gates in-app viewing; iOS handles passcode fallback. Does not encrypt the database, protect exported CSV files, or hide widget content • Payoff projections assume your setup note rate unless you log different P&I from your statement • Variable/adjustable rates, leases, and balloon loans are not fully supported—log manually when P&I changes; no catch-up auto-fill for variable patterns • Late fees are user-entered from statements—not calculated penalties • Chart and journey exports are from your logged data—not lender statements • Does not provide official payoff quotes or credit bureau data
