HIIT & interval workout timer
Interval workouts with voice countdowns, Apple Watch companion, widgets, and achievements. Start a circuit in seconds — fiTimer keeps you on track.
FiTimer is a fast, no-nonsense interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, circuits, stretching, and anything else built around "do X seconds, rest Y seconds, repeat N times." On iPhone and Apple Watch — now with custom circuits, a Lock Screen timer, and streak tracking.
CIRCUITS — NEW
• Comes with a ready-made Full Body circuit — try it, then build your own.
• Build your own workout: named exercises, each with its own duration, repeated over rounds.
• FiTimer calls out every exercise — "Squats", "Plank" — so you never have to look at the screen.
• During rest it tells you what's coming next.
• Optional warm-up and cool-down phases bookend any workout, circuits and classic sets alike.
LOCK SCREEN & DYNAMIC ISLAND — NEW
• Your running timer lives on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: current exercise, set counter, and remaining time at a glance.
• No unlocking mid-set to check where you are.
iPHONE
• Three things on the screen: sets, exercise duration, rest duration. Plus or minus to dial each one. Long-press +/− to auto-repeat.
• Five preset slots — four built-in (8×20/10, 6×40/20, 5×1m/15, 4×3m/1m) and one fully customisable.
• 3-2-1 countdown into every workout.
• Audio cues that actually help: a rising-pitch tick every second, a higher beep every 5 seconds, plus a voice announcement on a configurable interval ("3 minutes 20 seconds remaining"). Off, every 10s, or every 30s.
• Mute toggle for quiet environments — visual countdown only, no sound.
• Pause / resume / stop, with a clear "next phase" hint so you always know what's coming.
• Set rest to 0 for self-paced circuits — FiTimer waits for you to tap CONTINUE before the next set.
• Keeps running when the screen is locked, audio coming through your speaker or headphones.
• Siri and Shortcuts: say "Start a fiTimer workout" — works from the Action Button too.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
• A monthly calendar marks every day you finished a workout.
• Streaks, a 12-week trend chart, and 15 achievements to unlock.
• Home Screen widget with your current streak and this week's workouts.
• Optional daily reminder at your chosen time — it knows your streak and what's at stake.
• iCloud sync: progress and achievements follow you across your devices.
• Apple Health: finished sessions can be saved as HIIT workouts. Off by default.
APPLE WATCH
• Start, pause, and stop workouts from your wrist — no need to fish your phone out mid-set.
• Workouts finished on the watch now count on your iPhone calendar too.
• Drift-free clock so the timer never falls behind during long sessions.
• Voice announcements over AirPods.
• Haptic cues every 5 seconds and on phase transitions, so you can train without headphones and still feel the cadence.
• Stays awake for the full workout via the watch's extended runtime session.
PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. Your settings and workout history live on your devices and in your own iCloud — nowhere else. Apple Health is written only if you switch it on, and never read.
WHY FiTimer
Most workout-timer apps want to be your fitness coach, sell you premium content, and track your soul. FiTimer doesn't. It's a timer. Open it, dial in the workout, hit START, train, close it.
