Time zones and daylight saving time mean your clock can run up to 1 hour and 40 minutes ahead of the sun — especially in Western Europe during summer. Solar time is natural time. When the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, it is exactly 12:00 solar time — regardless of what your clock says. What Localtime shows:
