A diary for people living with diabetes
DiaDiary — your personal diabetes logbook
DiaDiary is a clean, private place to keep a daily record of your diabetes. It's a logbook, not a medical device: it doesn't diagnose, treat, monitor, or alert. It's built for adults living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes who want a tidy, ad-free way to track the
numbers that matter — and bring an honest record to their next appointment.
What you can track
• Blood glucose, in mmol/L or mg/dL — switch units anytime.
• Blood pressure (systolic, diastolic, optional heart rate).
• Body measurements — weight, waist, body fat. Metric or imperial.
• Nutrition — carb units, calories, free-text meal notes.
• Medications — your plan (insulin, orals, GLP-1s, others) with dose schedules, plus the individual intakes when you actually take them.
• Physical activity — type, duration, notes.
• Free-text diary entries for the days that need words rather than numbers.
Every entry carries the date and time you actually recorded it for, not just when you tapped Save. Forgot last night's reading? Open the entry, pick yesterday evening, save. Your timeline stays honest.
Smart input where it helps
AI-assisted recognition (premium) where a quick photo beats typing:
• Photos from your metering devices to populate your logbook entries.
• Meal photos become a draft entry with an estimated carbohydrate value, ready for you to confirm or edit.
• Medication packages can be scanned to identify the product and prefill its name and classification.
Photos are processed once and not retained, location and other EXIF metadata are stripped before upload, and the photos are never used to train any model.
A real weekly logbook report
The Reports view generates a tidy PDF of your week — readings in context, ranges highlighted against your personal typical bands, medications and intakes alongside meals and activity. The page your endocrinologist actually wants to see, formatted to print or share
by email.
Trends and typical ranges
Set your own typical ranges for glucose and blood pressure once, and the diary and trends views quietly highlight the outliers. These bands are yours — explicitly not clinical thresholds, and DiaDiary won't recommend anything based on them. They simply make patterns easier to see.
Privacy by design
• Encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Export your full data set as JSON anytime.
• Delete your account and we remove your profile and every entry within 30 days, backups included.

What DiaDiary isn't
DiaDiary is a self-tracking tool. It doesn't replace your healthcare provider, doesn't make clinical decisions, doesn't calculate insulin doses, and doesn't issue alerts. Highlights, ranges, reports, and photo guesses are for your own record-keeping — never medical advice. Always consult your healthcare professional before making decisions about your therapy.
