In 2023, my son was diagnosed with diabetes. At that moment, we began learning together how to adapt to new daily challenges and the need to consistently monitor health indicators. Our first knowledge came from a printed brochure called “The First Diabetes Diary.” That was when the idea emerged to create a modern interactive app that would always be at hand and help make diabetes management more convenient in everyday life. “Diabetes Diary” is a convenient tool for tracking key health indicators for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Main features of the app: • glucose level tracking; • insulin and carbohydrate logging; • insulin-to-carbohydrate ratio analysis; • support for CGM sensors; • tracking nutrition, blood pressure, weight, heart rate, and physical activity; • Apple Health integration; • Apple Watch widget. Over the past year, the app has grown from a small family project for managing a child’s diabetes into a полноценный tool that helps people more conveniently track their health data and maintain daily diabetes management. In the future, we plan to: • add the ability to retrieve product information from the internet; • implement a barcode scanner for food products; • add iCloud support for synchronization across your devices.
