Media volume by GPS speed
Speed up, volume up.
MotoVolume automatically adjusts your phone's media volume based on your GPS speed on every Bluetooth ride — loud against wind and engine noise when you ride, quiet when you stop out of respect for the people around you. Motorcycle, scooter, bike, skateboard, or a Bluetooth-connected car — it doesn't matter. Works with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and any music app you use.
THE STORY
Most riding audio apps promise "louder sound." We do the opposite: don't be that one at the red light.
You turn on your Bluetooth speaker and hit the road. Great ride. Then you stop at a light, and suddenly everyone within ten meters can hear your entire playlist. That moment when you'd rather not disturb the people around you? MotoVolume was built for it.
WHAT IT DOES
• MotoVolume changes your music volume automatically based on your GPS speed. You don't need to touch any buttons while riding.
• It controls your phone's system media volume — the same level your volume buttons control. It never changes anything inside Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, or any music app.
• MotoVolume works with helmet speakers, Bluetooth headphones and speakers — basically any device that receives audio over Bluetooth.
• Volume changes are smooth, never sudden. Just gentle fade in and fade out.
• GPS only runs while ride mode is on. When you turn it off, location stops too.
MADE FOR
MotoVolume is made for daily riders, not racers. If you ride a scooter, motorcycle, bike, or skateboard in the city, on holiday, or to commute — and you listen to music with a helmet speaker or Bluetooth speaker — this app is for you.
• Daily urban commuters and scooter riders
• Cyclists and everyday riders
• Skateboard and inline-skate riders around town
• Helmet speaker and Bluetooth speaker users
• Anyone who'd rather not blast their playlist at the red light
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Q: Does it work with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music?
A: Yes. MotoVolume controls your phone's system media volume — the same level your volume buttons control. It works with every music app: Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and podcasts.
Q: Does it work in my car?
A: If you connect your phone to the car as Bluetooth audio and your car supports it, yes — MotoVolume sends volume over Bluetooth, and most cars accept it. (When CarPlay is active, volume control passes to the car, so it may be limited in that mode.)
Q: Does it drain my battery?
A: GPS only runs while ride mode is on. Turn ride mode off and location stops right away. Battery use during normal rides stays low.
Q: Does it change anything inside my music app?
A: No. MotoVolume never touches Apple Music, Spotify, or any other app's settings. It only changes your phone's system media volume.
Q: Is my location data private?
A: Yes. Your location never leaves your phone. It never goes to a server. It is never saved. GPS is read only while ride mode is on.
ABOUT PERMISSIONS
MotoVolume reads location (GPS) only while ride mode is active. Your location data never leaves your device, never goes to any server, and is never logged. Battery-conscious by design.
