Phase 1 — Notice. Read an anomaly from the daily seed bank: a paradox in a paper, a missed correlation, a result that didn't replicate, a contradiction between two communities. Pick the framing that lights up for you.

Phase 2 — Question. Sharpen a noticing into a question with edges. Score for novelty, tractability, and importance. Reject the obvious.

Phase 3 — Literature. Three to five related works, with the line you would cite from each, and what your work would actually contribute that they did not.

Phase 4 — Hypothesis. State it falsifiably. Pick what would kill it. Estimate effect size before you measure.

Phase 5 — Method. Choose the experimental design that earns the strongest claim for the least cost. Sample size, comparators, statistical test, sensitivity to assumptions. The app pushes back where the design is weak.

Phase 6 — Paper. The app composes a structured research draft: title, abstract, introduction, related work, hypotheses, method, ethics, limitations, contribution. Export as Markdown, LaTeX, or — for Pro — PDF and .docx.
