The app connects volunteers to opportunities and lets them manage activity data.

VolunteerConnect application helps Volunteers find volunteer opportunities matching their skills and interests with the help of AI assisted chat. Besides being able to find the activities with the help of AI assisted chat which searches the opportunities published on the internet, the volunteers can also join the activities created by administrator and added to the VolunteerConnect application.

Both admin and volunteers can create activities entering its name, description, location, schedule and associated organization along with some other details. Tasks can be created within each activity by entering name, description, schedule, total number of hours and task status. Task status can be changed anytime from “In progress” to “Completed”. Volunteers can anytime join the activities created by administrators.

The application keeps a track of Activity and Tasks data of a volunteer and displays important metrics like Total number of activities, completed activities, total number of tasks etc. On a dashboard. The dashboard also shows some important visuals like pie chart related to distribution of activities based on category and bar graph related to hours of activities within a specified time period. One key functionality of the application is that it allows the volunteers time based hourly targets and keep a track of their performance against the target they had set.
