4:8 BREATHING While a contraction runs, a soft ring breathes around the button on a 4:8 cycle, four seconds inhale, eight seconds exhale. A discreet "Inhale / Exhale" word switches with it. Stay in rhythm without looking down.

APPLE WATCH Birth Timer has a matching watch app. Tap right on your wrist without reaching for your phone. The watch shows the same button and the same breathing ring. Even when the watch is briefly out of range, taps are queued and sync as soon as it reconnects.
