Hush is a private, offline sound mixer for sleep, focus, and masking the little noises that keep your brain awake. No account. No ads. No subscription maze. No cloud library that stops working when your Wi-Fi gets weird. The sounds are built into the app and your mixes stay on your device.

Build the sound you actually want:

• Brown noise under rain on leaves • Ocean with a little wind in trees • Fan plus pink noise for a softer room tone • Frogs, crickets, and swamp ambience for a night-outside feel • Thunderstorm when plain rain is not enough

Every sound has its own volume. Pull a slider up to add it, turn it down to tuck it into the background, or mute it completely. A master volume controls the whole mix without changing the balance you made.

SOUNDS INCLUDED

Hush ships with 13 bundled sounds:

Noise colors White, pink, and brown noise for masking speech, traffic, HVAC, neighbor TV, and other steady distractions.

Weather and water Rain, rain on leaves, thunderstorm, stream, and ocean.

Nature and room sounds Wind in trees, crickets, frogs, swamp, and fan.

Because the sounds are local, they start instantly and work in Airplane Mode.

SAVED MIXES

When you find a mix that works, save it. Name it Bedtime Rain, Deep Brown, Hotel Room, Focus Cave, or whatever makes sense to you. Star your favorites so they float to the top. You can also favorite individual sounds, so the ones you use most are always easy to reach.

SLEEP TIMER WITH FADE

Set a timer for 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Hush fades down gently instead of cutting off suddenly. If you are not ready for silence yet, tap Snooze and the timer extends.

You can tune both the fade-out length and snooze duration in Settings.

WIDGET AND APPLE WATCH

The Home Screen widget shows your current mix and gives you a fast way back into playback.

The Apple Watch companion works like a remote: play, pause, and adjust volume from your wrist while the audio keeps playing from your iPhone, AirPods, Bluetooth speaker, or bedside speaker.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Hush does not need to know who you are.

It does not require a login. It does not use ads. It does not track you. It does not upload your mixes, timers, favorites, or listening habits. Your setup is stored locally on your device.

That is the whole point: a sleep app should help your room get quieter, not make your data louder.

BACKGROUND AUDIO

Hush keeps playing when your phone locks or you switch apps. If a call or system interruption happens, Hush pauses instead of blasting audio afterward. You stay in control.

WHY HUSH

Most sound apps are either too thin or too busy. One lonely rain loop is not enough. A giant meditation platform is too much.

Hush sits in the middle: a clean mixer, a good timer, useful sounds, and nothing trying to upsell you at midnight.
