Write what is directly observable, rate the condition, and seal the entry. Each seal is a SHA-256 digest, so a later reader can tell whether a record or its photo changed after you saved it.

Work the eight survey areas: site and drainage, exterior envelope, structure, water and plumbing, electrical, climate and mechanical, interior, and life safety. Add a measurement when you have one. Note the weather, the viewing position, and anything you could not reach.
