Your home has a maintenance history. HomeMend keeps it on your iPhone — and only on your iPhone.

Every homeowner has had this moment: "When did we last replace the water heater? Who fixed the dishwasher? How much did the roof patch cost?" Receipts get lost. Memory fades. HomeMend gives your home its own logbook.

But the version most apps ship comes with strings attached: an account you don't want, a cloud you don't trust, a subscription that auto-renews, an "AI feature" that quietly looks at all your data.

This isn't that.

HomeMend is free. Fully offline. No account. No tracking. No subscription.

You log a repair. The data lives in your iPhone's sandbox and your iPhone's regular iCloud Backup — full stop.

What you can do

• Organize by room — kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom, living room, garage, outdoor. One record, one room.
• Six record types — Repair, Replacement, Maintenance, Inspection, Upgrade, DIY.
• Attach photos — pick from your Photo Library, or take one on the spot with the camera.
• Track cost — or mark as DIY. Your home's actual annual cost, no guessing.
• Set maintenance reminders — HVAC filter, water heater, smoke alarm batteries. Surfaces on the Home tab and Reminders tab.
• See where the money goes — clean charts: spending by room, activity by room, totals over time.
• Export a PDF — full history or any custom date range. Useful when selling your home, filing an insurance claim, or just keeping a paper trail.
• Two languages — English and 简体中文, switchable in Settings.

What HomeMend doesn't do (on purpose)

• No account, no sign-up. Nothing to forget the password to.
• No cloud sync. Your data is on your iPhone. Standard iPhone backup (iCloud or encrypted Mac/PC) handles continuity.
• No tracking, no analytics SDK, no ads. No third-party code is shipped at all.
• No subscription, no in-app purchase. It's just free. v1.0 is the simplest commitment HomeMend will ever ask for: nothing.

Why this app exists

Built by a single independent developer as a clean, principled alternative to the cloud-first home apps. If you've been keeping receipts in a Notes folder and photos in a smart album — HomeMend is purpose-built for what you've been doing manually.
