CAPTURE: THREE WAYS, UNDER 10 SECONDS

Business card scan: point your camera at a card. Met reads it with on-device OCR and extracts name, job title, company, email, phone, website, LinkedIn URL, and address automatically. Review, confirm, done.

LinkedIn QR scan: ask them to show their QR code and scan it. No connection request, no login. The profile URL is captured instantly. Also works from the edit screen.

Quick manual add: type a name. That is the only required field. Add the rest now or later.

VOICE NOTES THAT BECOME SEARCHABLE TEXT

Right after meeting someone, tap record and speak for 20 seconds. "Works at Speedinvest, Series A B2B. Knows Mahdi. Into watches. Reach out after launch." Done. Faster than typing three words.

Met transcribes every voice note directly on-device with Whisper AI. No audio ever leaves your phone. No internet required. The transcript is added to the search index. Two weeks later, "VC watches" finds the right person, even though you never typed that word.

"VC watches Vienna" finds Markus. Watches was only ever spoken in a voice note. "INSIDEOUT" shows everyone from that event. "Mahdi" surfaces anyone you mentioned Mahdi about in any note.
