Streetsweep is a free, on-device parking helper for Boston drivers. It tells you when the block you're parked on is getting swept, so you can move your car before the ticket arrives.

HOW IT WORKS

• Open the app: it shows the street you're on (with permission) and when it gets swept next. • Tap anywhere on the map to check a different spot. • Tap "Park here" to save your spot. You'll get a local notification before cleaning starts. • Open Schedule to look up any Boston street by name and see how often it's cleaned.

WHAT YOU GET

• Always-current Boston street cleaning schedule bundled with the app. No data download required. • Side-of-street control. GPS can't reliably tell if you're on the even or odd curb, so the toggle is a first-class control, with a "Not sure" option that shows whichever side is swept sooner. • Configurable reminder lead time: 6, 12, or 24 hours before cleaning, plus an optional 1-hour nudge.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

• 100% on-device. Streetsweep has no server. Your location, saved spot, and reminder settings stay on your phone. • No account, no sign-in, no email required. • No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Free.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO (YET)

• Parking meters and permit zones (residential street cleaning only). • Snow emergency routes. • Tow recovery info.

PRIVACY

Streetsweep collects no personal data and has no backend service. Apple Maps renders the map; Streetsweep does not control or access any data Apple Maps may collect. Full privacy policy is linked from Settings.
