VocalSensei

Vocal Sensei is a vocal training app that lets you record your vocal practice and visually track your pitch and practice flow.

Using your microphone, the app visualizes pitch in real time and helps you manage your personal practice in a more structured way through tools such as vocal range tests, long-tone practice, scale exercises, a metronome, and a piano. You can also review your progress through practice records and reports, and leave recordings and notes whenever needed.

Vocal Sensei was created based on the inconveniences experienced in real vocal academies and personal practice routines. After a lesson, it can be difficult to review what feedback was given, and practice materials or assignments are often scattered across messengers, photos, audio files, and personal notes.

From a student’s perspective, it can be hard to find materials again. From a teacher’s perspective, there is the burden of storing and managing each student’s lesson records and feedback materials on a personal phone. During this process, important records may be missed or lost due to device changes, deletion, or chat room cleanups.

To improve this workflow, Vocal Sensei brings together the features needed for vocal training and lesson management in one app, including personal practice, lesson records, assignments, feedback, lesson materials, attendance, reports, practice room reservations, and operating cost management.

When using the academy/lesson features, teachers and students can manage assignments, feedback, lesson notes, attendance, and reports together. In addition, practice room reservations, operating cost management, group creation, and communication features help create a more organized workflow from personal practice to lesson management.
