VocalTuner is a Chrome extension that visualizes pitch and intonation in real time. It shows a pitch trace, supports slides and scoops, and lets you tap a piano keyboard to play accurate reference tones for vocal training and instrument tuning.

Beyond live tuning, it analyzes imported tracks, lets you compare your pitch to the original in real time, change the playback key, and uses AI-powered vocal separation to practice with vocals or accompaniment. An in-app purchase removes ads.

Frequent crashes and instability, including immediate crashes after updates or during use (opening, importing, scrubbing).
Intrusive ads that interrupt usage and sometimes trigger crashes; paid ad removal can be unreliable.
Unwanted signups/charges during setup to unrelated fitness sites.
Import/compatibility issues, such as Apple Music limitations on iPad mini and occasional failed song imports.

This vocal pitch tool is definitely the most accurate one I have tried available on the App Store. There are many great and well reasoned tools and settings. The interface is easy to use and easy to interpret at a glance and you can adjust it for your vocal range or speed. You can also adjust from 440 Hz to match a more natural vocal tuning. Depending on if you use your devices microphone or an external one, there can be a few missed notes and gaps. There have also been a few crashes when working with uploaded audio files. But it’s great that that feature is offered, and this is one of the few apps that is actually frequently updated and bug fixed. Definitely worth the purchase for the full version!
