Spirogears brings the classic spirograph toy to your iPhone — with the satisfying feel of drawing by hand, and the precision of a digital tool.

Choose your gear sizes, pick a color, and drag your finger around the ring to draw. Watch the pattern emerge stroke by stroke, or switch to Animate mode and let the app draw for you. Add layers in different colors to build up complex, beautiful designs.

How it works: • Set the inner ring size, wheel size, and pen hole to configure your gear. • Start at any starting notch around the ring. • Draw all the loops or... • Draw only some of the loops and start the next layer where the last one left off. • Draw manually by dragging, or animate at your own speed. • Add as many layers as you like, each with its own color and weight. • Hide the gears to see your finished artwork. • Save drawings and come back to them later. • Share your creations as images.
