txtshr turns any text into a secure, shareable link — in seconds.

Type your message, choose a passphrase, and get a URL you can send to anyone. The recipient opens it in their browser and decrypts it locally. No account needed. No server ever sees your content.

HOW IT WORKS • Your text is encrypted on-device using AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your passphrase (PBKDF2, 600,000 iterations) • The encrypted payload lives entirely in the URL fragment — the part after the # that browsers never send to servers • The recipient decrypts in-browser. The server is provably blind to both the content and the passphrase

ZERO-KNOWLEDGE BY DESIGN The server hosts only the web viewer — a static page that does all decryption locally. Even if the server were compromised, there is nothing to steal.

LINKS THAT LAST Generated links never expire and require no infrastructure of your own to keep alive.

OPTIONAL RENDERERS Attach a custom renderer to control how the recipient sees your text — useful for formatted notes, code snippets, or rich content.
