Cortex uses iOS Family Controls (Screen Time API) to block the apps and websites you choose, the moment your session starts. Open a blocked app, and you'll see a custom Cortex shield instead.

Your session timer shows live on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

— BREAKS AND EMERGENCIES —

Need a 5 to 15 minute breather? Pause mode lets you through temporarily, then re-blocks automatically. Emergency unlock gives you 3 uses per rolling 4-week window.
