We only serve content that explicitly permits redistribution — Creative Commons (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-ND, CC0), public-domain, and US-government works — from trusted sources like NASA, PLOS, arXiv, PubMed Central, Wikipedia, The Conversation, and Our World in Data. Quizzes are prepared ahead of time and cached, so the gate stays instant.

PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY On iPhone, KnowMax uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework in individual mode. The list of apps you choose to gate stays on your device — Apple's API never even reveals it to us. We don't read your articles back to ourselves, sell your data, or share anything with advertisers.
