Features & Capabilities

Construx is a constraint-based decision tool. You describe a real decision as limits and inputs (budget, time, risk, flexibility, how many things depend on other things, how strong the outcome must be, and how much capacity you have). The app turns that into a Decision Feasibility Model: scores and short guidance about whether the scenario is realistic under what you defined. It is built for evaluating decisions under pressure, not for simple to-do lists or generic project tracking.

How to use:

• Open Portal to see how many decisions you have saved and quick highlights (for example, strongest feasibility or highest pressure). Use the orbit controls to go to other areas of the app.

• Tap Forge to build a new scenario. Enter a clear title, set budget and time limits with the dials, choose risk tolerance and flexibility on the rings, set how many dependencies you are dealing with, then adjust outcome strength and resource availability. A live preview updates as you change inputs. When everything validates, generate the feasibility model to see the full result.

• On the result screen, read the feasibility score, constraint pressure, flex margin, dependency load, and outcome viability, plus the recommendation text. Use Re-save to store an updated evaluation after you change settings. Use Share to send a text summary.

• Archive shows saved scenarios in a node layout. Search and filter to find one. Tap a node to edit that scenario. Delete scenarios you no longer need.

• Spectra shows analytics when you have history: trends and comparisons, plus summaries like best and average feasibility. On older iOS versions, charts may appear in a simplified form.

• Bias(settings) sets default risk, how sensitive the engine is to tight constraints, and flexibility bias. You can reset all local data from there. Nothing is sent to a server; data stays on the device.

Why it is useful: • It forces you to name constraints explicitly before judging whether a decision is doable. • It surfaces tradeoffs (time, budget, dependencies, outcome bar, resources) in one place instead of relying on gut feel alone. • The outputs (feasibility, pressure, flex margin, dependency load, viability) help you see where the plan is tight and what to relax or replan. • Saved scenarios let you compare or revisit decisions after things change.

Construx does not replace professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or safety). Use it as a structured way to sanity-check whether a decision fits the limits you believe are true.
