Bad sleep should change your training. Aresmode reads your watch and cuts today's volume when recovery is low. Snap the whiteboard — logged. Ten days. You'll know.
Your watch measures your body. It doesn't tell you what to train today.
Aresmode writes that part. It reads the sleep, heart-rate and recovery data already sitting in Apple Health, weighs it against yesterday's training, and decides today's session — built by an active wrestler.
■ Your Body Changes the Session Three signals — HRV, sleep and resting heart rate — become today's readiness. On low-recovery days the session actually gets lighter; on strong days it goes up. Not a vague "take it easy," but a different session. And Home is a cockpit — readiness, body signals and today's session at a glance.
■ Your Own 30 Days, Not a Population Average HRV and resting heart rate are scored against your own 30-day baseline, not a generic norm. The longer you use it, the sharper that baseline gets.
■ Not Enough Data? Then No Score. When too few signals are measured, it says it's still learning your baseline instead of inventing a number. No fake recovery scores.
■ Everything Your Watch Left Behind, Picked Up · Last night's sleep, split into deep, REM and core · A flag when your sleep length has been erratic over the past two weeks · Early warnings when wrist temperature, respiratory rate or heart-rate recovery drift from your normal · Today's active calories, exercise minutes, and weight from a connected scale · Workouts logged in Apple Health, imported — cardio automatically with distance, heart rate and calories; combat and strength sessions after you confirm them Nothing is ever written back to Apple Health. It only reads.
■ Photograph It, It's Logged The gym whiteboard, a note scrawled in a notebook, a screenshot — one photo becomes a structured training log. Lifts broken into sets, weights and reps; mat work split into technique, drilling and live; circuits into stations and rounds. Pounds convert to kilos automatically. It reads handwriting, including Korean. And it never invents a number that isn't written down.
■ Say It, It's Logged "Squat one-forty for five." Hands stay on the bar — lifting, wrestling and cardio all go in by voice.
■ Today's Session — Just Ask "Leg workout for one hour." Say what you want in one line, and the session arrives grounded in this week's log and your readiness — with the why behind it.
■ Ares Vision — Match & Stance Analysis (wrestling) Upload a video and ask one question — it answers like a coach, anchored to timestamps in your footage. Film your stance and get scored on lean, knee, level and balance, with the corrections drawn on the keyframes. Movement measurement runs on-device; for AI coaching, only selected cropped frames and measurements are sent.
■ Competition Mode Counting back from match day — weight class, cut, taper. Training shifts as it nears, with a packing list, match-day routine and season roadmap.
■ 30-Day Goal Pick one thing to move this month. Set a baseline, then check at day 7, 14 and 30.
■ One App, Many Disciplines Wrestling, judo, boxing, MMA, jiu-jitsu — plus strength and cardio, coached together.
■ Fuel Log what you ate and the AI estimates calories and macros, read alongside that day's training load.
■ Send It To Your Coach Your whole week on one page, ready to hand over.
