HOW IT WORKS

Your FM admin invites you to the platform and assigns you to a building. You sign in, see your schedule, and start inspecting. QR codes on each door identify it instantly. The checklist guides you through every part of the inspection. Failed items prompt you to take a photo and describe the defect. When you finish, the report is signed off and synced to the cloud, ready for the FM to review and forward to the responsible person.

WHY IT EXISTS

The Building Safety Act 2022 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 place a legal duty on responsible persons to ensure fire doors in higher risk and multi occupied buildings are inspected and maintained. The Golden Thread requires that the evidence of those inspections is captured, retained, and available on demand.

DoorTRACE gives engineers the tool to capture that evidence properly the first time, and gives building owners and facilities managers a full audit trail of every door, every inspection, and every defect.
