Netzcast is deliberately simple: one list, one player, nothing else needed. You put in what you want to hear and press play. When an episode ends, the next one keeps going on its own.

ONE LIST IS ALL IT TAKES Your playlist is the centre of the app. Per podcast you decide whether new episodes land at the top, at the bottom, or nowhere at all. Reorder with one finger, clear them with a swipe. The order sticks, even after a restart.

EVERYTHING LIVES ON YOUR DEVICE Whatever sits in your playlist, Netzcast fetches automatically in the background — over cellular too, if you allow it. Train, plane, dead zone: it plays anyway, because the episode has been there all along. Episodes you have heard are cleared out after a period you set, and a storage overview shows you what takes up how much space.

NO ACCOUNT. NO SIGN-UP. NO TRACKING. You install the app and listen. No profile, no analytics tooling, no server anything is reported to. Your subscriptions, your playback positions, your downloads stay where they belong: with you. Netzcast talks only to Apple's podcast directory and to the feeds you subscribed to yourself.

SKIP THE PAUSES If you like, Netzcast cuts the pauses out as it plays and shows you how much time that just saved you. Smart enough to leave quietly spoken passages alone — and not to touch anything when a music bed runs underneath. On chatty podcasts that adds up to a few minutes per episode.

JUMP WHEREVER YOU LIKE Chapters from the feed and from the audio file, with their own artwork and jumps forwards and back. Speed from 0.5× to 2.0×. A sleep timer for 5, 10 or 30 minutes — or until the episode ends. AirPlay in a single tap.

FROM YOUR WRIST TO YOUR CAR CarPlay puts your playlist on the dashboard, chapter list and next-chapter jump included in Now Playing. On Apple Watch you get playlist, player and episode info on your wrist, plus a Now Playing widget and two watch face complications. On iPad, playlist, player and show notes sit side by side — with Split View, Stage Manager and keyboard shortcuts.

LOOKS THE WAY YOU WANT Ten accent colours, and the whole app follows — right down to the icon on your home screen. Eleven app icons to choose from, rainbow included. Light, dark or the system setting. Text sizes follow Dynamic Type, of course.

SET UP IN UNDER TWO MINUTES Import an OPML file and every subscription is there. Find new shows through search, top charts and categories, or straight from a feed address, with the episode list in view before you subscribe. And if you ever move on, exporting is just as quick. The list is yours.
